Lyrics:
Here's a little bit of old school for ya,
That goes a little something like this...
I always tried to be the flyest kid in the block
The popular one with the rising stock
So that's when I had this bright idea
(Throw the party of the month)
No, the party of the year
All the fine girls couldn't turn it down
Now all I gotta do is get my parents out
Should I send them to a movie
(No, send them to a show)
Let me think, hmmm
It's gotta be long though
I said Mom, Dad, yo why ya sittin home
It's a Friday night, have you seen Aunt Joan
And don't worry about stayin' out too long
Don't fuss over me, I'll be fine alone

I'm a 30 year old grown man and I'll never forget the wonderful childhood memories he gave me. I've continued to play his music throughout my adult life, and will continue to do so. His passing hits hard for all of us who grew up with radio Disney in the early 2000s. It's been a couple days and it's just now hitting me, he's really gone. I can't believe this. Love you brother. Thank you for everything you've done AC. I'll see you on the other side..

The irony of everyone getting sentimental about a guy who was clearly warped by his childhood fame... maybe you people should start questioning if making children mega stars before they reach the age of puberty is a healthy thing? Haley Joel Osmont, Corey Feldman, McCauley Culkin, Matthew Jake Lloyd and countless other men I grew up on, all end up being permanently f'ed up from childhood stardom and maybe it's time we start dismantling that, even if their songs make us feel good for a whole 15 seconds.

As a child of the 90s who considered this song absolutely iconic during my childhood, it's bittersweet to come back to watch this. Jamming along to this song just as I did back in the day makes me feel happiness. Aaron probably wouldnt want any of this to ever make anyone feel sad. Even in death, he left us with this incredible gift that we can ask share 🧡🧡

Alyssa Brock She was a girl, I was a troll, could I have made it any more obvious? On to Avril videos now. No I'm kidding, I'm doing a report on how many people get angry and swear at other people on a collected amount of youtube videos. I leave sarcastic replies that match the sarcasm of the comment and wait to see how many people respond. The last time I did this report the results became skewed because my friend was literally getting harassed and we had to start over so it's just me now. We go through more interesting stuff than this most of the time, but she (she's the male account) just analyzes the data for our report. Last time we did this, the search was for the bystander effect online. A lot of people actually got in on the fight and started bashing me (the female account who was getting harassed by the male account) and nobody defended me, so it's the cyber equivalent to gangbanging someone. Nobody thus far has defended that female, we left the comments up to see if anybody would say anything to the male to stop. Nobody has. On this search, though, we're trying to see how many people get so angry they use dialogue that's considered rude offline. We report our findings to a home for domestic abuse. It's really sad because nobody stuck up for the male account, either when we switched platforms (went to facebook for that one), but bashed him with the female account. So the sad part is that there are no homes for men to stay safe in. :/ We're trying to go back to expanding, but older people need to know how people today actually interact online, because they think cyberbullying isn't even in existence. Since you didn't really seem that angry, even with me provoking you, that's one less statistic. So thank you for reading and have a great day. (No personal information or words will be used, we are strictly using numbers. You will not be recreated in any form.)

I feel weird watching this. I LOVED Aaron when I was 5-9 years out. Like ADORED HIM. I’d sit in my room watching his DVD’s and writing him letters and shit. I owned everything I could find that was branded with him. My aunt spent thousands of dollars to fly us to Orlando to see his concert. Like I was in DEEP. And it’s just....really rather sad. All that time I thought he had this perfect, amazing life. But shit was dark as hell behind the scenes. And to know where is now....it’s just sad. He had so much damn potential, and unfortunately the adults in his life had no regard for his future.

Same. I was a teen in the 90s and this pop music was a sign of the apocalypse for us lol... But watching history repeat itself (was also a Corey Haim fan) should be a major warning sign for parents who push their kids into the spotlight. Too many child stars end up lost and trying to chase the fame they had as kids and then just burn out. It's sad.

yeah I'm not looking forward to that. I don't know about your country but in australia on our last year of highschool we do a big test that takes hours to do called a "HSC" and if you get good points in it the more oppertunities you get to get into universities aka "college" and get a good degree to get a well paying job. However if you don't do well in the tests that means you don't get good points, wont get a good job and you'll have a bad life. and thats when you've offically screwed up in life. that's what worries me cause if I fail I've pretty much failed yourself, your family and your kids wont get what they want.
