After watching the House of Carters where the entire family tried to show and maybe people accepted that too that Nick was a better and caring brother, I perceived a totally opposite perspective on him. I felt that it was Aaron who was mistreated and kinda abused by his siblings and he being the youngest and most importantly being the one who actually loved his family became the victim. He himself said that Leslie didn't treat him well from 10 to 13, I didn't like BJ throwing slippers at him not once but twice and asking Nick to straighten him. I didn't like Angel being her self absorbed self and not being worried at all when Aaron was hit by a skateboard while surfing. And don't get me started on Nick. I feel disappointed in him coz he failed Aaron big time. He had this doting, adoring little brother who looked up to him but instead of channeling that into something positive, he started acting like biggest critic. Now we'll see how does he treat his son when he turns a teenager... The parents messed up but the siblings had their fair share in turning Aaron into what he became in the last years of his life. Being the youngest he bore the brunt of his whole family. I absolutely dislike when his surviving sister (who I get the vibes that she's more interested in getting her modelling and becoming famous wishes fulfilled) talks about Aaron's legacy when at one point in time she said that she never expected Leslie to die but thought Aaron would die first and also went on to say that she went into therapy to seek help as to how to handle when Aaron dies. What kinda sick individual does that to her sibling... And instead of genuinely helping him, they take out restraining orders against him and now she goes on TV and speaks about his legacy! Wow! What hypocrisy! I still have a soft corner for Nick somehow coz Aaron idolised him and I feel that somewhere deep down Nick feels guilty for letting his brother down and he should. He messed this one up big time. He shouldn't have done this to Aaron. Aaron wasn't just a random kid... He was talented, brilliant, creative, sensitive with a great sense of humour and had great confidence at an early age... No wonder he became a double platinum selling artist at 14... It wasn't coz of Nick... If that was coz of Nick then him being dead at 34 is also coz of Nick... RIP young man! My 90s self is shocked still that you passed this way and my current self still loves that bubbly, stubborn, smart, creative and handsome boy that we all will never forget... RIP AC ❤ Much Love
