Yeah. I totally understand. I also faced rejection at church and I went through a very painful breakup, all at the same time. I was so disappointed of people. I am aware none of this is God's fault but it's kinda difficult to gather strength to go on knowing you're pretty much on your own, back to square one and always worried that somebody will hurt you again, that they will wait until you're vulnerable or full of confidence to attack you and stab your back. I remembered a phrase that one of my acquaintances used to say "I don't hate God. Who I cannot stand is His fanclub" and yup, that was me in a sentence. I'm slowly trying to get back on track and it saddens me that Aaron blames God, probably due to Spencer's influence. Like I told God that day, crying in the bathroom, silently thanking God because I didn't have anything to harm myself with (if I had, I probably would have done it, I hate to admit it). I remember I told Him "I don't know why You allowed all this but someday I will. Thank You for this truce. I was happy while it lasted and I don't know what You were thinking or what I'm supposed to learn from this, but anyway". Lately I've been discovering new angles of the moral of this story. It never ends, it seems. My wounds are healing. I'm learning. I might not be a runner in the race to get the crown of life, but at least now I walk instead of crawling. I always tell God I want Aaron to understand what I know now. To proclaim it. To shout it from the rooftops, unashamed, without a doubt. After all, I'm not special, I don't have anything that makes me better or more worthy of a second chance. Despite that, I was given grace, a second chance, a fresh breath into my lungs and I want everybody to experience it for themselves.

He didn't say that he rejects his faith, but rather the organization that molded him into something he isn't. He also said that he stands by this music, but he doesnt want to work in this industry anymore because it didn't allow him to be honest. Still love this music.

Oh, brother. I almost feel like a fraud saying this... I've been distant due to some disappointment, mainly caused by how I was treated at my previous church. I won't say I've been there because I AM there. I'll pray for both of us. People fail, but God never fails, and He loves us no matter what. He's waiting for us with arms wide open, like that loving father rejoicing when his son came back home. He came back with nothing, but he came back, he was safe now. He used to be dead in sin but now he's alive again. May God grant us strength and courage to come back to His arms, because we should have never left.

Knowing where he is now, I feel him even more on a personal level. I used to be a man of faith too, until life decided to persuade me otherwise, and I'm in a position now where I can look back at how I used to be, just like I'm sure he still does. Point being, life changes people and their beliefs and ideas, but I still love this album of his. I'm such a fan of his voice and presence when it comes to his art, music is forever, no matter where life takes you.

Don't let people sway your beliefs. People tend to lose faith because of how others treat them, and forget your faith is a relationship between you and God. Not everyone else. Just remember that when things get tough.

look into Theistic Evolution or Theistic Darwinism. I was once a Christian till i found that many religions and science have much more in common then most people really think. I personally view "science" it self a "religion" (in the most non-religious sense possible) or a "believing" of sorts. Their is a sense of natural "Order" and "Law" within the universe, and that is what I find most Agnostic and Atheist put their "faith" in. Nothing wrong with that at all for that for that "Order" is Yahweh
