Aaron Lewis I hope you read this comment. I truly hope you know how much you have touched SO many peoples lives, including mine in a big way. You always say the words the perfect way, in a way I couldn't find to express myself. I hope someday to meet you and thank you in person.

This song hits hard. I’m a full time firefighter in a small town. Had to miss my daughters 1st birthday because a hurricane came through. There’s time I’m trying to spend with my kids and wife and have to leave to go to an emergency. Didn’t realize how much time it takes to be a firefighter till looking back and notice everything I’ve missed. Just have to show my kids no matter where or what I’m doing they are still in my heart and I love them. As they get older they are starting to understand. Thank you for making a beautiful song.

I've been with the same woman for a little over 10 years. We've been married a little over 3 of them with 2 beautiful young kids. This song hits a lot of people. Life can be so hard sometimes but a healthy marriage can get one threw a lot. Beautiful song. I heard it for the 1st time last week and I think I've listened to it 15 times so far.

This song means alot to me for many different reasons... my husband is a truck driver... we've been married since 96' ...... it feels like sometimes its done when your away for a long time, when u haven't seen each others faces for awhile.. but u will always remember that he's the one person u turn to for everything .

I love you son. Have loved you since staind. Loved you then, love you now. We're the same age. Have lost all hope in this current political climate I have lost everything, almost broke. Still working 15+ a day. I have prayed for the rain. Lost that. The farm is gone. Now I drive a truck. It's awful I'd rather tend to wheat than hit the freeway. Your words give me hope. We all talk to God when shit goes south, otherwise everyone forgets. In the full throes of alcoholism, I have a wonderful wife and son. But I've all but given up. I didn't bring a child into this world for this. This is not the American dream I believed in. I'll back that up you're not the only one... you get the reference. Thank you for your voice. I hang on every verse. Lost and lonely is still one of my faves. By the way play more venues close to Eastern Oregon. Gas is expensive and we're scared of big cities. Pendleton whiskey music fest?

Aaron lewis has a way to take the simplest of words (words that would sound cheesy and fake sung by anyone else) and turn them into something real, heartwarming and deeply toutching. What would the world be like without people like Aaron?

I don't think its that easy. If you have a job and you hate it why don't you just quit? Life isn't that simple, you cant just quit and do what you want all the time. This is his job, this is how he supports his family and buys them the things they want. He doesn't get paid to do nothing and he also cares about his fans. He is a great artist.

He sings the songs he writes, and delivers the message to the audience with so much passion, He is truly one of the last great songwriters! Aaron Lewis has to be one of the last great song writers of our time! This generation of music is all about sex, drugs and all that bullshit! But Aaron writes from the heart, every song is unique, each with its own emotion! People that have experienced staind or Aaron Lewis always feel a connection to there/his music. It speaks to us, in some cases, even saving us. Like me...

Maybe I'm jaded but finding love isn't easy... a lot of people are looking for it, some don't know how to go about finding it.... some people don't recognize it when it's right there in front of them. I've lived a good long while now, and I now believe that we are all born as halfs of a whole, and that we really don't feel complete without our other half... just my 2 cents. Great song btw...
