I've been in love with this man and his music since I was a little girl, 1995, I was a 9 year old little girl with lots of scars and going through just to much but I locked myself in my room and listened to staind records over and over. I even got to see Aaron Lewis on concert when he came to Johnson City, TN I was barely outta high school and my husband, my high school sweetheart, he's passed away now. We used these wonderful songs to deal with and cope so I thank you for another amazingly written song. 26 years of amazing songs!!!!!

My son & I always shared a strong connection and bond with music his whole life. 2-1/2 years ago my son was hit by a car beside the interstate and suffered from a traumatic brain injury. Totally non verbal, with a trachea & feeding tube. Doctors & nurses loved using the term vegetative state. I was quick to always correct them!!!! He had life in that beautiful body of his...and many hours I sat and played Aaron Lewis songs ( one of our favorite artist!). Music was his life back to me...our connection. My son would move his foot back & forth ( in a tapping motion) lying in a hospital bed...his eyes would respond in a fast blinking motion when I would ask if he remembered the song. Sometimes he would smile big and occasionally he would share tears with his mama, just sitting there telling stories of his childhood, his brotherly love & bond, and his 12 year old son, that misses his daddy so much. I lost my sweet son this year 02/20/22 @ 2:20pm and the last song I played him at the hospital & the song I played at his funeral was Something To Remind You. Aaron, you got us through some of our darkest hours, with your beautiful songs that speaks to the soul!!!

There will never be another Aaron Lewis this man is very talented and gifted. This song really touches you in a way and it's because of the way he sings it , hes always been good at that even from his early days in Staind . This song actually reminds me of his roots and it has a lot of the same progression as In earlier songs from Aaron Lewis. Never change my friend.

I have always love his music. However these last few songs have been so deep. You can feel his emotions in every single song. I don’t know if he has some things that have recently happened in his own life that have allowed him to tap in to those inner feelings that many people hide from the rest of the world. I love that he is writing songs to help us all understand that we all have things that hurt us so bad that it changes us for the rest of our lives. I love this song and you get what you get the most.

My first time hearing this gem from Aaron. I’m personally on the brink of fight or flight… listening to this on repeat staring at the noose I’ve carried for the last week, everywhere I go. Homeless, separated, aching to be with the woman of my life, and our beautiful daughter. Stuck without a job. An array of meds, a list as long as an arm… Typing this through the dam walls that are my eyelids… still unsure whether this is taking me further or closer to letting go for good. I’m at an emotional and mental deficit. Sir Lewis, should you ever read this, thank you for getting me through the last two decades, and thank you again for this song… I’m afraid that maybe I’m just too late this time. To anyone else who may read this, I love you, I wish you the best, and I am so deeply sorry. For everything.

EDIT: January 27, 2023 This song hits me in my past addiction feelers. Anyone else? Celebrating 8 years sober on Feb. 5 23 and...only taking Advil after 2 hand surgeries & 1 L3-L5 spinal fusion surgery. (All within the last 4 years). Told all docs "please do not prescribe me opioids after surgeries." They were blown away. My GP, the same. They rarely hear people acknowledge their past addiction with pain meds. So free. This song is going to be around for a long time. Just like his song "It's Been Awhile" from his Staind days.

Same. My brother passed away suddenly on February 9th, this year. He was just 33. I’m so sorry for all the grieving you are all going through. Music like this has been my saving grace. Sending you all my deepest condolences and most sincere prayers for healing.

There's been Many Many times that I've wanted to give up in my life with all the bullshit and everything. I've tried the drugs, the bottle the everything. But Aaron's music has 100% always gotten me through it every time. I feel I owe my life to this man in a sense... thanks brother! I'm sure I'm not the only one who you've helped in this way. I'm forever a dedicated fan of anything you do! 🤙🖤

He obviously has always been a very talented song writer but right now he is tapped into a different space that only a certain few can find. I’ve read and listened to many great song writers talk about and explain this phenomenon in different ways and it seems they don’t know it until they are out of it. It’s the ability to tap into universal consciousness on some level, pick out the most pressing concerns and issues at the time, and write a song that expresses those feelings in a way everyone can relate no matter race, gender, or age. Amazing to watch.

Aaron Lewis I've said 1000 times, including to Aaron himself.... Truly great singer/songwriters are very few and far between but he is hands down the very best of the best truly great, singer/songwriters to come along in the last 25 years and he is destined to go down in history as one of the greatest of the greats! Few connect with our souls through their words Like Aaron Lewis can with a song!

I told him the same thing on what's app, he wanted me to invest in bitcoin, can't wait till I have enough to let him know I'm ready to invest. How special are we that he gave us his personal what's app account number?

Aaron, I've been jamming with you from day one and you just keep getting better and better. I wanna say thank you for being real, honest, humble and for sharing your songs with us. The past two years have crippled our household financially through furlough, loss of insurance, savings and your tunes have been a constant companion to ease the stress. May God bless you and yours in all walks of life.
