Aaron Monaghan - Richard III Soliloquy

Druid Theatre Company actor Aaron Monaghan delivers a riveting Richard III soliloquy in NYC's Central Park. He performs as Richard III in the Druid Theatre production as part of our White Light Festival 2019 season.

VERY well done! The "reveal" was clever and organic to the scene; my regards to whoever came up with that idea! I also found the "pursuit" of the viewer to be both unsettling and highly effective in that it engaged me in a way with the speech. It emphasized the subtle, yet very real, menace of the character. The use of location, also, worked well because despite being outdoors, the limited area seemed claustrophobic - especially during the end of the pursuit, where it almost seemed as if the viewer were being backed into a corner.
