No need to compare the two, Bill did the original and will always be respected as a great artists and writer. Aaron Neville is one of the great soul voices of all time and did an Honorable job, so lets just enjoy them both..

I am sixty seven years old and have been a fan of Aaron neville and the neville😂 brothers Since I don't know when it's been so long. I was feeling like listening to some of his songs and I am being a little morbid but I'm afraid he might be the next one passing because. He's really getting up there in years also❤❤❤❤❤❤

I've always loved this song! I just finished watching an episode of 'New York Undercover' and Aaron was the guest artist. This was the song he performed at Natalie's and that version sounded SOOOOOO good!

@@ProtoFalcon07 No, what you posted is the album cut which is which is almost 5 minutes. The single chopped a minute off that. Music video versions generally use the single edit...

@@lobohobo9218 Well, yeah it's the same thing, just not cut short like the radio version. Either way, music video version here clearly sounds very different.

@@ProtoFalcon07 Radio versions almost always sounded different, especially back in those days they were punched up, like this was, to sound better over the air.

Great Aaron. I give you 8 out 10. But for 10 out 10 you might want to check Esther Philip's version on her album "Home Is Where The Music Is" and see what happens to you. It is by far the best I've had of this song. Even Bill Wither's live version at The Carnegie Hall bows to Esther Philips' version. Ben Harper does a good cover as well.

Did they use this version of Use Me in Any Given Sunday or the BIll Withers version?
@buffuniballer13 күн бұрын
I'd have to say this is 3rd on my list. I like Hootie's take on it (Darius Rucker) on Scattered, Smothered and Covered. Then Bill Wither's take. This just doesn't hit as hard with me. It's a worthy effort, don't get me wrong. I just like the others better.

Very seldom is the movie as good as the book, the sequel as good as the original, check Junior Wells cover of this old Withers moneymaker and comment... it has something missing in a lot of music so popular today..

Best cover version I've found so far. Interesting double entendre in the video images with the tracks, 'dealer,' and the chick nodding out in the back seat. This is still Bill's song. Never gonna find a better version than his.
