For me, we should give Biereth a chance. He fits the profile of striker we are after and is a clinical finisher. He should be given chances ahead of the likes of Nketiah who I think have shown that he doesn’t hold the required level and likely never will. But Biereth gives us something different. Alternatively, we should do everything we can to get Gyökeres but that’s gonna be a popular target this summer. Likely to have a lot of suitors. Even if we have the cash, he might simply be swayed by someone else.

I probably thought we could have given him a chance given the apparent ineptitude of Nketiah, but that offer they got in the end was simply too good to turn down so I understand the club taking that deal. No strong feelings either way on it. I’m just stating an opinion such as any fan of the game does, I never once claimed to know better than the club in that regard. I would hope that they know better given how well paid they are and are full time professionals. But still, fans are allowed to have opinions and discuss, are they not?

@@snaggiz sure. I think Nketiah not good enough is one thing as opposed to really liking someone who I doubt you have really seen much of. KZbin vids had me excited as he'll about Pepe. Your opinion is fine. Mine is fans are poor judges of who we need to get from past data 🤣. We all love ine of ours coming through. So let's see. I recently had a difference of opinion with someone who thought Vieira would be an upgrade on Odegaard lol. Happy to disagree online. It's only characters on a screen 🤣

@@virupakshawalla5734Balogun's style of play would have seen him only really be an option for us on the left role where Martineli/Trossard/ESR/Nelson are already fighting for that spot. Biereth gives you a proper powerful.pysical presence down the middle with lightening pace. A completely different beast. I'd deffo gamble on moving Eddie on in the summer, getting his 100k off the books and extending Biereth and see what he can do in that role. He's gonna get chances with Jesus's injury record. The only thing i can see that Eddie has over him is experience and is never injured.

Be madness to let Bierth go. He has the attributes you just can't teach as well as his eye for goal. Pace, power, strength and height. The only thing holding him back is his injury record. Even with that he's worth the risk. He could well explode into a top level forward in the next couple of years. His style of player usually goes up a few gears once they've fully grown out around the age of 23 and got their man strength which he isn't far off. The sensible option here would be sell Eddie at the end of the season. Where you'll get decent enough money while getting his 100k of the books then give his place to Mika and extend his contract for a fraction of that. Looking at Jesus's injury record I think being given that role would look appealing enough for Mika and his agent.

If City go out to Real they have 2 less games to play. Think I would take City for that reason. If we get a result at Emptihad we would be undefeated by them in 3 this season going into the semi. Could be too much for us is valid too. Byern may even be too much. As long as we give a good account of ourselves it's a progress season.

Personal opinion. No new players are needed. Timber Partey, Zinny, and Co are back to fitness. Then those coming back from loan... lokonga Patino Mika etc Academy. Nwaneri ocazio dubrey. Miles scalley etc
