He’s an amazing drummer but there are some guys out there that have him beat. The thing is how do we define who is best? From a technical aspect I think it’s how hard the difficulty of the music being played is. But then it’s also a mix of what’s pleasing to the ear, gets the audience involved and of course playing in the pocket. Aarons timing is solid, but he lacks in dynamics. I think Jo Jo Mayer is one of the best. But he doesn’t sound as flashy as Aaron so I think people overlook him. Anywho just my two cents, only a classically trained percussionist that has marched dci and college drum lines. I’d hope my vote counts for something 😂

Am I the only one who isn't into the sampled hi-hats on this track? I feel it takes away from the performance- it's so hot in the mix. I'm not anti-drum sample, but I AM anti-drum sample when it comes to a drum showcase. He killed it anyway, I should add, the guy's a monster
