Kick-Ass was my introduction to him and I've loved him as an actor ever since

I worked with him when he was a little kid (10 or 11) in a Dutch/English movie called Tom and Thomas. I was blown away by him as he played a double role, that initially were actual twins that withdrew literally at the last moment. And he was very energetic always running around but at the same time very very mature mentally. If they hadn’t found him, I wouldn’t have landed this (back then a parttime apprentice) SFX gig. It was weird dressing up streets and bridges with snow in the middle of a gust I think it was. Esmee (the director) often had to say no for him doing stunts. Because he’s very physical and there’s a scene with a bike going of stairs in a warehouse and he was like: “I can do that? Can I?” But we had a standing because Esmee (the director) was terrified her goose with the golden eggs would get injured 😂And yet he did a lot of stunts like slipping in wet floors. My god that was 25 years ago! Pfff time flies!

I first saw Kick-Ass two before the first one, and it was one of my first CBMs. I loved AT-J in it. I hope the third film gets made.
