And he shredded it, and I was like ok there we go. And then we just did it, and had a little rehearsal, and got up and did it, and it was really fun. And then I get to the theatre the next day and someone said I had like 800,000 views, and I was like, "What?! I've never had that many views on anything." But yeah, it was pretty cool. It was so much fun to do. The only regret I have is that we didn't just go for it and kiss each other at the end. That was my idea at the end. I was like, "Aaron, what do you think? Jonathan Larson brought a new generation of folks to the theatre with RENT. The stroy, the characters, the songs and music; just amazing. I was fortunate enough to see it on Broadway with most of the original cast. Brought me to tears. I was so sad when he passed away. I shared that information with my dad when his family accepted his Tony. He responded by saying that sometimes when someone puts their whole being into something they literally pour their life into it. Somehow that gave me some peace. Jonathan is no longer with us but he lives on through RENT and his other works. His life was unfortunately short but his legacy is forever.

After watching this for about a hundred times I honestly can't decide what my favourite part is. Maybe the obvious grinding at 4:04, or the way Gavin pushes Aaron away from him? It could also be Aaron's interested and considering "Hm" or the butt clap that Aaron seemingly didn't see coming, or is it, maybe, all of Gavin's reactions to Aaron's whole verse? Or, possibly, when Aaron drags his hand through Gavin's hair ever so teasingly? Their vocal performance is out of this world. So many options, so little time. Maybe I'll watch it another dozen times just to make the decision easier.
