Hello my friend I have a question. Whenever I print front & back for as business cards or 4x6 postcards how come the back image be a little higher on the paper than the front image. Also when I print on thicker paper for 4x6 postcards both images don't print straight they end up printing in an angle. One more thing I notice if i print a lot of copies of something theres a lot of black ink spots all over the paper it only be on a few pages and the rest be clean. I have a xerox workcentre 7345

+DJ.903_TV In regard to the print being higher on one side than the other, there might be a setting in the printer to change the offset, but it would probably be easier to change the spacing on your word processor. The issue with printing at an angle might be correctable by changing your paper tray settings for heavier paper. The machine will generally ask what paper you are using when you load the tray. You can tell the machine you are using heavier paper at that point. The ink spots are likely caused by a faulty transfer belt cleaner assembly. It can be purchased online, but might be tricky to replace.

Good day Richard, am kind of having a very big problem with my Xerox 7428 printer. when it prints for more than 10 or 20 minutes, it will start making a very loud noise. My technician has asked me to remove the transfer belt cleaner when ever the noise starts, and i have been doing that. So it means every 10 or 20 minutes, i have to remove the transfer belt cleaner and remove the waste toner. I just wanna ask you, is that not a fault? If yes, what must i do to resolve this problem? Thanks.

On the back of the transfer belt cleaner assembly is a gear . You should to able to turn it by hand . If you cannot turn that gear you need to replace the transfer belt cleaner assembly. We sell this part. Give us a call. 405-203-6325

on a WorkCentre 7845 why would it make a big grinding noise when printing/copying but when I remove R6( transfer belt clearner) the noise stops, btw the BTC is 3 months old. Thanks

Yes. It has to be plugged into the router. It is not wireless.

Wish I had found you a couple years ago!!! I did just replace the transfer belt cleaner with a brand new part as you showed me. However, after I go to machine status>supplies>transfer belt cleaner> --- there is no reset button that I can see! And actually, I cannot see any button for this on your video either!! (I have model 7545, so it was a bit different) The count has reset to '0's but the machine is still telling me to replace it. I did try to turn off the machine and see if that triggered the reset but it did not. What now?

We solved the problem! Thank you so much for your help and for all of these videos. I love this machine and despite many of it's idiosyncrasies, it has served me very well. It is the only copy machine that will let me use extra heavy cover/card stock! I've subscribed, so I am sure I will be back!

How are you doing sir. Hope all is well with you. I have a question I just purchased a workcentre 7345 from a company for $500 and nothing is wrong with it they just wanted to get rid of it. The also said they never had any problems out of it. My question is do they break down a lot.

+DJ.903_TV So about 500k. It has been heavily used. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was still a great deal for $500. These are currently retailing for $3000. The original price was much higher.

i bought this printer to start a small printing company a few funeral homes want me to start doing their obituaries. Then eventually i want to slowly open a print & copy shop here in my small town. i'm going to work on getting another one like this just in case 1 break down i can rely on the other. Are they hard to fix.
