Watching Aaron outside the door listening to Chas crying - you could see his heart breaking for his mum.

I know Aaron was a nervous wreck and was beside himself with anguish and guilt, but his line “No, that’s terrible” was so jarring it was almost amusing. I physically winced from that. The words and his deadpan tone were just so off and flat and didn’t match the gravity of getting the news of a friend dying. He’s lucky that Chas was completely distraught because otherwise, she would have caught on quickly. Of course, we know the reason is that he was all shaken up and not thinking straight and was struggling to act ignorant of the situation and it showed on his face and in his voice. Props to the actor for that layered performance.

I feel bad for Chrissie having her wedding day ruined but I'm actually kind of proud of Robert for saying that he'd pick Andy over her if she made him choose, even if it was just out of guilt. Poor Aaron is just dying inside. Seeing his mom's grief and hearing her scold herself for upsetting him is bound to tear him apart. I'm so worried about him.
