Great car. I got my 2021 Mustang GT back in 2021 for 58k and 0 miles on it. It was a lot of money but at that time they were no 5.0s in the dealers.

Per your title "Best Time To Buy a S550", I hope so, I just bought one in Dec/2023 (2019 base model stick shift, kona blue). I only wish I had bought a model with Premium & exhaust. I plan on aftermarketing those options now which wont be as good as the factory versions. Advice to others, if salesman offers you the keys for a test drive, run away, once you drive one you will buy one.

Did you have to get an alignment when you installed the new steering wheel ?
@AaronRobinProductions9 ай бұрын
Yes, I did! For my last two cars, I didn't install aftermarket steering wheels, and everything was fine. However, this time, I decided to do it.

Any regrets getting the 6speed over the A10
@AaronRobinProductions9 ай бұрын
No regrets at all! My first S550 was an automatic, and that was the main reason why I sold it. I understand the appeal of the A10, but for me, nothing beats banging through the gears with a manual. My Mustang is my fun car, and for me, a manual transmission makes the driving experience more enjoyable. If my Mustang were a strict drag/track car, I would understand wanting to gain that edge with the 10-speed.

@@AaronRobinProductions any issues with the MT82? Online I think the issues are just magnified, or maybe people just beat on them.
@AaronRobinProductions9 ай бұрын
@@Huncho.Jon. It’s definitely over exaggerated, but some people do encounter issues. The Coyote engine is great for generating easy power. Many push for high power, increasing the chances of failure with the MT82 transmission. Personally, I know a good amount of Mustang owners with high horsepower cars who haven't experienced any issues with the MT82. However, I also know a few who faced problems after pushing for more power. Only two people I know personally encountered transmission issues after attempting to push the power limits. Either way it’s definitely over exaggerated.

Im thinking on buying one but im not sure what’s the real difference between 301a and 401a except leather seats, digital dash and heated ventilated seats. Is it worth it 401a? I live north as well.
@AaronRobinProductions6 ай бұрын
That's pretty much it. Leather heated and cooled seats, digital dash and I some come with the Mustang floor projection. I owned a 2015 401a GT years back and for me it wasn't worth it. The leather seats were nice at first but it's not the best quality. After a short time I was able to see visible wear on the leather seats. I didn't use the heated and ventilated seats often but I can see why it may be a nice option for people. When I bought my 2020 301a 6 months ago the only thing I wanted was the nice infotainment screen with apple car play. The clothes seats are comfortable and I like the classic dash. The clothe seats are nice because they don't get hot when it's scorching outside and they don't get cold when it's freezing. The heating and cooling seats definitely help with the hot and cold weather but it always too time to get the seats to heat up or get cold.

I know mpg doesn’t matter when buying these kind of cars, but how often do you find yourself filling up?
@AaronRobinProductions6 ай бұрын
I fill up every 2 weeks or so but I'm not the best person to ask. I work at home and I don't drive much.
@james5.oh14 ай бұрын
i commute 30 miles one way and i'm filling up every 3-4 days at 50 bucks a tank roughly
