"express before impress" I like that and I really appreciate the fact that you liked Laurent's last round because he honestly killed it. A lot of other reactors see his dancing as "too feminine" and stuff, but I personally think it was beautiful. It was well-paced, there was actual content, not just signature moves, he took the time to listen. It was very much free.

Lol its dancing, it's hard for normal people to get it. The way Laurent dances is amazing and expressive, his crew always hypes him.

Bruh, doing Feminine moves just to match the track is incredible. Not all understands how hard it is to portray a character without looking forced while dancing.

Because Yk Laurent and Larry was battling on the streets when they was young. People seem to forget how they started and just be like they just Instagram famous and be with Beyoncé that’s not all they are.

Been noticing more how people drop concepts without expanding on them because of you. That helped me show more love to dancers I used to sleep on in the past because I lacked understanding. Your knowledge really is power bro 🔥

This is why I love Les Twins. I dance myself before but I never had a foundation. I learn choreographies and dance with confidence, that's it. I wish I could be more creative. The Twins always connect to the song, listen to it and express it through dance. It is beautiful which makes me appreciate both dancing and music in a different level. I stopped dancing but I hope with watching a few more of Les Twins I'll get encouraged.

Nah can't have you give up on it. Learn that foundation and enjoy the dance bro. Don't forget to subscribe and hope to see you more in the comments
@simonw37222 жыл бұрын
Uuuh if we’re being technical here les twins do not have a lot of foundation themselves lol, they style is more so free and wild, of course they borrows some techniques from difference dance styles in hip hop (popping, animation, isolations etc) but I don’t see a specific foundation being a top priority when they dance
@caxlu4633 жыл бұрын
I’ve been following your channel for a while (1/2 years I think) and I can understand what you’re saying, especially looking at my own dance, I think what I lack is this foundation so as not to fall into these repetitions that I have noticed. Anyway, you have helped me a lot to realize this and try to work on my dance ... Big hug from Brazil! 🇧🇷

Dam it, that camera battery man lol. Love when you're able to break down the dancers strengths and weaknesses. I would love to see Kida to evolve in a particular style and get into the battle scene more. Even though this battle is about 5 years old, it still shows that alot of dancers dance to impress than express. The athleticism/physical ability of dancers is insane, entertaining as well. To me, it's the mindset of some dancers. Jack.of all trades master of none approach. Blend everything but not stand out in your own style. Power moves, sets and signatures galore but not always being as creative throughout ya freestyle/battle/ demo without those things. I'm just a fan of the dance world and "try" to dance myself so I'm not an expert so I could be wrong as hell.

14:22 guys he didn't crash you can see that he points to the crowd and then he fell on them. He was telling the crowd to prepare but people wouldn't know that because no one did it before.

I actually agree with what you were saying around 24:50-25:15 I believe. You definitely need foundation to propel you to create and you can not only use that in dance but a lot of other things. Painting, drawing, lifting weights, singing, martial arts, the list goes on. But i feel like if you take someone’s else’s creativity and make it your base line it may or may not work out for you. Idk I feel like I can use that for my boxing and just start learning more of the fundamentals of the art and working from there. Good shit bro 👍🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

looking back, I think that the twins just trying to impress because they knew it wasn't a real battle. I think in that last round Laurent was like "ight man, now I'm finna show you why we even got here, and why you shoulda never stepped to us" that was his serious round to me.

Kida didn't dance enough. That cute stuff doesn't work with real battle dancers. He was young so maybe that's y. Jabari tried but didn't connect. Lau was probably man of the match. Larry wasn't as good as he always is.

real dancers vs social media dancers
@makesmartTROYces3 жыл бұрын
I mean they are real dancers too it's just the twins are world class battflers first and foremost. Imo Kida didn't come up off ttling as a claim to fame, he chose a different avenue that lead to collabs with true religion, being in numerous music videos, starring and choreographing a Bieber video etc. ikshun is heavy on social media and was considered as "just a performer" by dumbasses but he REALLY be battling. Its just not what kinda puts his time into. But to call him not a real dancer is kinda wild
@simonw37222 жыл бұрын
Y’all just go on the internet and say the dumbest shi without an ounce of research 😂 I fahso bet the only dancers in the video you knew were les twins
