Damn that combo and Laurent's last round... I just get chills man For me Laurent was in his prime from 2011-2014. Larry had a great prime in 2015-2016, especially the Strife and Rbh battles he did. Love those

Oh they are great, Strife battle it's a Larry compilation, and you have an Rbh compilation too, but you'd miss out on other opponents' round and Regi dancing nuts alongside him !

This is definitely a classic. One of the first dance battles I've ever seen. I relate to you saying this was your dream bro, I´m from the Dominican Republic and this takes me back to me to the 13 year old me dreaming about becoming one of the best dancers in the world and representing DR in the Juste Debout stage. You def took me back. So glad you reacted to this one. Great reaction as always, you def know your shit. Peace bro.

You ask for comments - I am going to serve up a commentary. I think Les Twins give MasterClass after MasterCLASS for people to learn, get inspiration and dissect and (of course, for the haters). Some critiques are just disrespectful because it takes away from the sheer appreciation of these two dancers putting their journey out there to be judged. We have a decade+ of Les Twins so the question should not be 'when were they better?' because they were killin' it at every stage of their journey. Wouldn't you agree? Perhaps, the question is "look at how they changed the game by doing 'Their Thing'"? This battle was the Hunger Games and I think they should be allowed the freedom to grow and mature. Personally, they are not the only dancers I like but they ARE in a class by themselves. Their dedication and consistency is unparalleled!!! Their ability to dance so many styles is mesmerizing and in any Setting. Where are they uncomfortable? Specifically, to your question; they are still opening doors for other dancers and in order to do that you can't stay in place. In my opinion, Today, they are better because the experience in their arsenal is CRAZY. They can meet any challenge and pull out of a bag that is FULL. I would love for Larry to take the liberties and be as free as Lau in his dance but it is clear he is more guarded. For those who really follow him, they know. But when he's judged by clips and by other dancers, it goes from having a real comment to Hate and people making themselves look bad. I am new to your reactions and for the most part, I like them; because you make good points and you invoke a conversation not hate. This is just my two cents. (By the way, as for Larry doing the same moves - if I could make millions from doing a few dance moves and have thousands copying those 'few dance moves' - I would do that sh*t till I couldn't do it no more. These dancers critiquing his signature moves gotta get up and go to a J-O-B tomorrow. Les Twins live their dream everyday - so take the lesson, say Thank You and keep it real...) - I will order a Tee!

Les Twins had an ax to grind because in2010 they were boo'd off the stage by their own countrymen in France because the style of Les Twins' dancing was unusual. Les Twins persevered and did not capitulate who they were or their unique styles. They MADE the world stand up and take notice. The rest us history......... VIVA LES TWINS!!!!!💥💥
@MimMdance Жыл бұрын
Really? LT were already monsters in 2010 (that is about when their big evolution happened) so it sound real dumb to boo them. Maybe that is why they qualified for Japan. They taught them a lesson. :D

You had this shit memorized lol. This reaction had me in tears. 8:11 " he shouldn't be dancing no more just for doing shit like that". lmao. ...they were so free back then. i miss that. And I feel the same way about juste debout ending, i really hope bruce changes his mind about cancelling it because i need to go to jb before i die man
@snagc4b4274 жыл бұрын
It's not that Bruce can change his mind, because quite simply.... He can't : Juste Debout is a really hard Business to handle, and those sentiments come from himself. With the corona, he lost too much money for cancelling the event, and so he just had to. For years he tried to get the Ministry of Culture in France to back him up in the finance, but they never offered help. It's around 100 000 in budget to make this event happen, and he lost every Penny, which is just heart breaking. Covid's been a bitch
@nomadicsoul61444 жыл бұрын
I feel you on that. Just once at least. Juste Debout and Summer Dance Forever at The Paradiso with John Angesilas just once
@metalspalace4 жыл бұрын
Yea it's tough. Talking with slim about everything that happened put Bruce in an extremely difficult position where that was the only logical choice. It's sad but even worse for him I'm sure
@nomadicsoul61444 жыл бұрын
Thanks for explaining guys. This is terrible. Corona killing so many businesses and livelihoods. But Juste Debout was like an institution for Dance already. It was always there and then not. I see John is advertising an online competition for Summer Dance in August. The whole world can enter I see. Seems like a Dance your style type affair. I hope it succeeds and my fellow dancing citizens go for the opportunity.
@young_fellow1533 жыл бұрын
Larry changed he’s style because people used to say they both danced the same and they didn’t so Larry went more technical just so there wouldn’t be any type of comparison. There’s an interview were Larry talked about it he didn’t say he was gonna change he’s style but I notice a gradual change since then.

"This is where they did some disrespectful shit!!" Dude....THAT WASNT CHOREOGRAPHED!!!! AT ALL!!!! They legit used their twin telepathy or whatever. That whole sequence that LOOKS choreographed af around 6:50 ...it isnt. They said it themselves. You can find it in a old interview.
@metalspalace4 жыл бұрын
Disrespectful as in they was doin some craaazy shit and they didn't give af about their opponent which is a good thing. 6:50 is definitely choreographed they doing the exact same shit

This battle show their connection on a whole different level. Laurent push larry and some force of energy came over Larry. That energy exploded with passion, emotion, anger, sadness whatever they felt they was literally goku's and vegeta fusion, they was so sinc.
