Even the Greatest Generation wasn't that great until it hit middle age. The same Generation that fought and won WW2 was also the same Generation that voted for a Socialist system under Franklin Roosevelt and opened the door to the current welfare state that's destroyed the traditional family structure and nearly bankrupted our country. Look in the mirror..... we've allowed this for years by keeping silent and not holding each other accountable for keeping to the principles of our forefathers. @@eliteteamkiller319 Many people think that January 6th was wrong and an embarrassment. And think it is way overblown. All it did to the actual election process was delay it by like 3 hours. These same people are also embarrassed by the laughable regime in charge now. Enjoy the midterms in 2022.
@eliteteamkiller3193 жыл бұрын
@@Tusocalypse Have you read the comments here? There are people fomenting civil war all over the place. As for losing midterms, first of all, you assume that I'm some flaming left liberal. If I'm a liberal, I'm a classical liberal (e.g., a capitalist). But losing elections is part of living in what amounts to a democratic republic. We're a republic, with some elections majority rule, and some divided into regional sections. Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some. The problem is, after you've lawfully lost an election according to 50+ court cases, that you decide you're going to attempt to start a civil war. When you decide that when you lose the rules don't apply to you. These people are a deadly cancer to the American Idea. As is their leader, who _locked the damned doors to the White House_ when he left. He's such a narcissistic loser with an inferiority complex that he was willing to make the country burn to stay in power (side note: the recently released Russian intelligence report saying his inferiority complex was something they could exploit to weaken America seems spot on in hind sight). Millions of centrists voters realized this. That is why you lost. If you put someone who is mentally stable and sane on the Republican ticket, maybe you'll get my vote. But you put someone who appoints his own family members for positions of power and tries to use the Justice Department to hunt down people who say mean things about him on the internet, and yeah, I'm going to vote for a creepy old man who picked an annoying running mate.
@Tusocalypse3 жыл бұрын
@@eliteteamkiller319 On this thread, you are the one who brought up the capital riots and Trump. OP was just saying that he loves the country. And, you assumed that OP was OK with the capital riots. I didnt see any comment of his that he was OK or supported it but he certainly didn't say it in this thread. You also say I lost. I did lose by having Biden in office. We all are losing. But, I also lost because I didnt vote for Trump. I typically vote 3rd party when I can. You said you would vote for a stable minded republican, maybe, as a classic liberal but instead, you voted for a mentally unstable Democrat who has a terrible history as a lifetime politician and a unpopular VP that was only in it because of what she is. The capital riots were an embarrassment but what is even more embarrassing and sad are the riots that destroyed lots of private businesses and livelihoods. Not Walgreens or Walmart but Mom and Pops. That's way more disgraceful. Even if the capital rioters burned down the capital building, it would have been rebuilt without question. Can't quite say the same for the private businesses that suffered last summer for no apparent reason. If you want to talk more about subversion and dissent, we can talk about the Texas Democrats that absconded themselves because they didn't want a quorum to be held to vote on a bill under false pretenses.

I was a Staind fan from day one. I was a younger man then and didn’t care about politics and any of that sort of thing. I just loved the music. Aaron was my hero then. And as time went on, I grew up and found that my beliefs were not in step with nearly all of my old idols in the music industry. They became woke and intolerable. It’s been hard to listen to music or even watch TV anymore. To find that Aaron Lewis has stepped away from the bullshit and is speaking the same truths that I also believe…. You are NOT the only one. I am the same way, I hate hearing some of my favorite musicians/actors/athletes, etc. spout their bullshit on the various social and mainstream media outlets today. You can "think" whatever you want (of course most of them are simply going along with whatever is popular and trendy in current events) Also everybody didn't seem to have an outspoken "opinion" in previous decades, it was much more neutral. However I do love that about Lewis, because he says what HE thinks, even if it goes against the grain. He says what he feels needs to be said, regardless of whether people want to hear it, or whether they like it or not. That takes integrity. Aaron is a true blue man who won't bend for anyone.
@Babbitty813 жыл бұрын
It’s interesting to read that as, like you, I was a massive Aaron/Staind fan in my youth, but as I have also grown up and found a deeper interest in politics my values have moved away from Aaron, pretty much as far as a person can go. Still think he has an amazing voice and is a talented musician, but I just can no longer relate to him and have therefore been unable to listen to him for years. Saw this new song and thought I would try but only got half way through before I had to turn off. I guess that is the problem for any artist that goes down the political route, for every person you will connect with you will likely lose another.

Everyone needs to start getting involved whether locally, in the State or Federal elections. If you don’t want to run for office, make sure you are helping someone who does and volunteering at the voting booths. Time to take this country back. For good this time!

I didn’t plan to became a covid RN, my son deployed during this quarantine, and Portland was on fire! This song was sent to me last night(7/13) and it broke me. In March of 2020, it was fear of covid, fear of my son’s deployment, and fear of all the riots that happened every night. Now, I am not the only one. To the person that sent me this song.. 16 months of living this. Thank you! And to Aaron Lewis, I don’t know you and haven’t heard your songs(gonna change).. Thank you. To every deployed military, first responders, and nurses, keep fighting: we are not alone!

Thank you Michelle & to your son for all you do for our community and country. My husband (a native of Portland) & I live in a small town outside of Portland, we are heartbroken & at times scared of what's happening. My husband travels to many retail stores in Portland as a tech & has witnessed many times vandalism and looting. I worried about him when he had to go to Lloyd center as it is the worst. However, the store he serviced could no longer keep their doors open and is now closed. I wish you & your son well ❤️

Stop believing the plandemic is real. Pay attention to VAERS and other government reporting systems. Pay attention to the alabama lawsuit for example stating under oath they will prove 45,000 people died within 3 days of the vax roll-out in the US alone (so in a 330-350 million population, 45,000 is not a lot) but to put that in perspective the swine flu shot killed 53 people and they pulled it. For some reason everyone stopped reading the data themselves and interpreting it properly and just started listening to the mainstream propaganda artists on the T.V. It's like when all the cultists would listen to the priest interpret the bible his way because none of them could read... Empower yourself, learn to read and read it for yourself, than you can finally stop being controlled and believing this covid LIE.

This song makes me remember about the story behind the writing of our national anthem. The British had called for the entirety of the British war fleet of ships to bombard Fort Henry, if the Americans in the fort didn't lay down the American flag that flew above the fort, it would be bombarded by the fleet till the flag falls. During the night the flag had fallen, but knowing that all the guns were trained of that flag. Men, fathers went over and stood it back up. At the end of the bombardment when dawn had come. The mast of the flag pole was at a wierd angle, and what held that flag up were the bodies of dead patriots. They knew what that flag meant to stay up, they knew that when it fell. They didn't give in, they knew they would loose, they knew that the flag meant freedom from a tyrannical government that controlled them. We declard our independence and will stand by and defend it till the end of time. God Bless America and the patriots who live and fight to keep it free. LAND of the FREE, BECAUSE of the BRAVE.

Have seen Bruce 37 times. Thought he had the best interest of America in his music, but question it now. In reflection, most of his music is quite left leaning, which is fine individually, but today he has turned his back on what America stands for. I thought his songs always called for us to reflect on the way society works, to make it better through a non-political method, but he has given up. (I don't want to think he failed, but he apparently does.) He has the right to think the way he does, and buddy up with Obama, but, sadly, with his "I am better than you" attitude of late, I turn him off as well.
