White Stripes @ Greek Theatre 9/23/03

I was there, I wore a Betty Page getting spanked by another woman tshirt(I bought the shirt on 6th Street Austin Texas). On the drive there I drank Yukon Jack. The guy I went with told on me to my mother for drinking and driving, he sat shotgun smoking weed(when weed was illegal). Or, was it the other way? He drove, I drank Yukon? His dad was a cop. He got angry at me for my extremely loud whistling, saying they, the white stripes could not hear my whistles. I’m pretty sure I could hear my whistling in this video. After watching a few songs I looked at the date to see it was 21 years ago today. Thanks for posting this, I had no idea, this video existed. At this time I’m pretty-sure the whites stripes were my favorite band. THANK YOU

One Bastille Day in Jack's attic in Southwest Detroit, some guy put a video camera on a tripod and randomly moved it around at various times with no regards to direction, content or importance of capturing an epic and historical performance. Jack was inspired by his work and said the childlike skills were perfect and refused to let the cameraman practice. Over time the cameraman perfected exposure and audio and occasionally framing but it would be years before he discovered what a pan/tilt drag knob on that tripod was really for.

I was at this and I was high as shit on E. The bathroom attendant had every kind of bomb ass candy you could ever imagine it was like willy wonka. People were getting mad because me and my brother in law stood up and danced the whole time. It was awesome!

One of the best shows I have ever seen by the White Stripes and at one of best venues ever as well! LAs Greek Theatre! You had to be there and and sadly, I wasn’t! I sure wish to Hell that I was! Jack and Jill , I mean Meg, are in perfect form here! I was going to pretend I was there but I only bought a DVD of this show and was blown away at how good it was and extremely pissed that I missed it! This was the gig to see! Jack is the Mack Daddy here and Meg is the Mack’s girl! Amazing! I personally think J&M kept Rock n Roll alive during the Zero Decade!! 😎🔥🎸🌋💥
