Lane Frost was a true American legend and the true legend of the rodeo he was a champion in life and a champion on the circuit growing up in Oklahoma you know the story of Lane Frost there's an award given every year four all-around cowboy Lane Frost should be a permanent fixture he should win it every year because he gave his life doing what he loved most of all he will always be the all-around cowboy and legend to me I'm a huge fan of the rodeo and I'm a huge fan of Lane Frost may God rest his soul and if there's any Lane Frost fans which I know there are please please remember he's riding for Jesus now and he's booking all them bulls in the internal rodeo for Jesus Lane Frost will always be one of my heroes

Those were the days that Lane is remembered in. The True Cowboy Spirit is being Lost in today's Country Music. I'm an American, born and raised in Oklahoma. Lane Frost was and still is an all time rodeo cowboy, he went from a young man with an incredible smile and amazing talent to a legend. Rodeo ppl around the world remember him and some of the rodeo cowboys I know even pray for Lane to watch over them as they ride. 8 seconds doesn't mean much to most ppl in this life, but men like Lane live and breath for those 8 seconds. If you can't show respect for this song or the amazing man that Lane was then you do not have a soul. Its OK to not like a song because of the feelings it causes you to have, but please do not disrespect the artist or what this song means to Lane's family. He was a real man, just as you who are reading this is real.

I have a grandson who is 6years old, since the age of 2 all he ever said was he was going to be a bull rider just like Lane Frost and Tuff. He watched 8 secs a millon times and can tell you word for word and whats going to happen and whats songs they play. One of his favorite parts in the movie is when Lane and Kellie got married and Tuff tapped on Lanes shoulder to see who was the better Cowboy dancer, he laughs so hard when Tuff falls on his butt, and then Lane helps him up. When this part of the movie shows my 6 year grandson has the dance steps down. Let me tell you he is really good at it. When he first tryed to do it he fell on his butt and was laughing so hard, I could not help myself but to laugh out loud with him. He said Mema will start that part over so I can dance like Lane and Tuff. I said sure. So I would restart it and he would dance. I got so tired of this movie after seeing it a millon times, I just would put it in for him and he would watch about 3 or 4 more times. I had to hide it....lol , because he only wanted to watch 8secs. He got mad, but after a month went by he started that dance and he had all the right moves to it, even then part when they kick each other in the rare end...lol. Well the story is this my grandson rides calfs, and he starting to get the hang of it. And I have my Cowboy bull rider to be. He wants to be just like Lane. And he knows the lord will be with him and guide him and have his arms around him at all times. I am so proud of this 6 yearold looking up to one of our greatest Bull riders in history.
