I am a Telugu guy, but aisi koi baat nahin. Whoever is passionate of telling a story and want to express themselves, can make good movies. Personally, I’m a big fan of Hrishikesh Mukherjee movies...his movies in 80’s and early 80’s, and some great Tamil movies too, by Bharati Raja, K. Balachander, Bhagyaraj and Balu Mahendra. It’s just that, Telugu culture have a history street shows and theatre, and they were the main source of entertainment. So, movies are a natural transition. People have a passion for that, even though we are a small fraction of the nation. And therefore, we suck in other areas (sports etc). 😐
