Yeah, the urge to do this with trees is real. The brush tool felt better for me though - less precise but a lot faster and still very nice looking.

"How have I earned through Diplomacy?" I suspect that was the one-off Opium trade, since the gain was 3.8k, the same as you asked in return for your delicious poppy juice, and you performed that as a diplomatic negotiation rather then through the trade houses.

dude, cool it with the adverts. every 5 minutes, I literally timed it. unskippable at the start and every 5-6 minutes until the end. I enjoy your uploads and have done for years but this is too much.

Cheers for the feedback. It may help to know that I don't set the adverts, YT sets them automatically. This channel is designed, intentionally, to be low involvement for me, it's simply a place I put my vods from Twitch so I don't go through all the checks and balances I do on my main channel. Though getting adverts every 5 minutes seems excessive even for the worst cases I've seen with automated midroll placements. Mind if I ask where you live? My partner manager has explained that even if YT flags an ad placement in the video, it's simply a 'potential' position for an ad to get shown. Whether or not one does show up is down to how long ago the last ad got shown to that viewer, and that different countries have different 'tolerances' (for want of a better word) for ads. US, for example, gets way more because that's what media is like over there (or so I'm told lol) while the UK, you'd expect it to be more like every 10 of 15 minutes. Always interested in getting more info.

@@aavakafterhours Sorry for the delay replying, I wasn't notified by yt. I live in the UK and watch either on pc or through the switch yt app. I mainly watch on the switch, normally i watch vod uploads or long plays and they'll have either no adverts or an advert at the start and just before or at the end, but some would have them dotted through them too. since around the time mind over magic was popular your videos, and a lot of others, have had adverts every 5-6 minutes while some others remain the same always. I had assumed it was a decision by the creator and not yt. i'll find a game i like and watch an uploaded vod, or series playlist, but every 5-6 minutes has been making most of them unwatchable and most sadly yours have been in there. I'd been enjoying your backpack hero series but since December that one seems to have increased advert frequency too. Song of Syx started okay but now I can't watch it because the adverts are so frequent. yet still some people have minimal to no adverts even on the switch app.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, I'll raise this with my partner manager and have a talk over what I can do to mitigate this sort of thing (once I'm back in the UK xD)
