If I’m correct, I heard fahadh saying in an Malayalam interview that he learned that particular Kannada slang and tonality from Raj B Shetty! Also Shoutout to Sushin Shyam the music director real OG giving bangers movie after movie!

Man his kannada was dope. Fafa was electrifying as Ranga. It was a master class performance. Amban was a riot. A cute violent emotional teddy bear always ready for a fight at drop of a hat like the cartoon character Obliex. His loyalty and adulation for Ranga is to die for.

Malayalam movies have allways been the gold standard. It’s just that they don’t have a huge population like Tamil and Telugu audience and therefore don’t have huge budgets to spend on marketing outside Kerala and also to help with word of mouth. Also Kerala movies don’t believe in mass movies and illogical stuff which hate to say is what majority of audience everywhere wants. The literacy rate in Kerala is 99% and therefore the audience is a lot more evolved than the rest of the country. I think if anything has changed now it’s mostly the boom of ott platforms and also the fact that Hindi movies are just not doing well and audience is also getting a bit tired of the same old mass movies with the same formula so they’re trying other movies. Also Hindi movies and even Telugu and Tamil unlike before where they would just remake Malayalam movies in their languages and take the profit, can’t be done anymore because of ott. To put things in perspective allmost all the early 2000’s classic hit hindi movies are remakes from Malayalam movies like Hulchul Hungama Hey Baby Herapheri Houseful 2 Garam Masala Drishyam 1 and 2 Bhool Bhulaiya Chup chup ke Body Guard Kyun ki And many more.. this just a sample

2:21 no he never said that. He said he enjoyed working with sajin gopu (ambaan). He said the only reason he may consider a prequel or sequel will be to work with sajin gopu.

Great review. Can you imagine the 3 guys are actually first time actors. They were chosen through the reels they made on social media. So was Kuttii from the gang another first time actor.

When I did my Masters I was staying in SG Palya just like any other mallu guy in the city and in the house next to us there was this politician, also a goon I believe dressed just like Ranga. All thick golden chains, white shirt, white pants, white sandals. Man had some bodyguards and a Qualis car just like Ranga. One time his guys rushed to our house to beat up my roommate for playing music after 10pm, which he very well deserved 😂

Ranga's change of attire in the end has nothing to do with the change in his personality or characterization. He changed it for the sake of his Guru Reddy who claimed that Ranga stole his dressing style of all white with gold ornaments. Throughout the movie, Reddy tries to get him killed, and in the end, when he realizes that it was for such a trivial thing, and on top of that Reddy manipulates Bibi to get back at him, it breaks him!! That was one of the reasons he forgave the boys. Also, in the end, he is still back to his old form and is seen giving orders to Ambaan and his goons to punish the kids for failing exams. Notice how he didn't have any stick in his hand!
