The author is saying Atse Yohanes was working with British. In his own words, Atse Yohanes was providing food for 40 k British army and he was leading them all over Tigray. At the same time, Yohanes was okay when the British took all the historical documents, and the family of Atse Tewodros . If these are the facts, how on earth did you expect others not to blame him? What if someone did the same for Atse Yohanes? Yohanes signed the so called Adwa or Hewitt agreement with British which includes an article to help the British army in Sudan. This agreement was the foundation for his final demise. In the interview, both agreed to ignore these facts, and they were happy to blame the Showa dynasty for everything happened in Tigray. The fact is that Yohanes was an Ethiopian king, but the way he took the power was with the help of British. Technically, he was helping them in the demise of Atse Tewodros. The other puzzle is the author didn't mention in his interview the role of Atse Yohanes in support of the Church, he was sided with Tewhado and forced others Christian teaching to accept the Church teaching. I am forcing to write this comments because facts are distorted and will not help Tigrayan.
