It was, infact, a bold and brilliant attempt by Javed Ali Saab to sing it in a different orientation altogether ! Javed Ali Saab has quality, clarity, depth, and wide range in his voice, which is eminently suitable for ghazal gayiki ! Over the years, Javed Ali Saab has metamphosed into a versatile singer, making an indelible mark in rending of modern as well as semi - classical music forms- like ghazal and thumri - with equal proficiency and consummate ease ! He has a bright future ahead ! Hats off to Javed Saab for this memorable performance !
