Hello Bro, Please help me. I have installed music system and 12v socket aftermarket in nexon xe. Now when I put car invertor to charge my laptop it blow up the fuse ( 5 ampere) and my music system with charging socket stopped working. I changed the fuse but i suspect I can't use appliances like vaccume cleaner, dc to ac invertor, tyre inflator etc. Can you please provide me a solution, I am thinking of taking a dedicated 12 v connection from battery

Yes you have to take the direct connection from battery. But add a fuse as well for safety. Also remember that direct connection from battery means that supply will always be there even if you will remove the key.

@@KarDIY if you car battery has GREEN INDICATOR, then the moment your car dicky is open for significant amount of time, the battery colour will change to WHITE FROM GREEN! I am sharing based on my experience in my i20 2011.

Cars cost 15/20 lacs nowadays but they can't comes up with a simple way to add a 12v socket...I can't do it...I don't want an uneducated jahil in Karol Baugh to open the car....same for adding an audio system or camera's...why can't they be bluetooth or wireless...beyond me.
