In a massive boost for the Hindu side in the Gyanvapi masjid case, the Archaeological Survey of India findings claimed that there was a large “Hindu temple” at the site where the Mosque currently exists.
While reading the 839-page report of the ASI on Thursday at a press conference, Vishnu Jain, the advocate representing the Hindu side, said that the engravings of a Swastik, snake, lotus flowers and bells were found inside the mosque. “Idols of Hindu gods, remains of broken pillars of the temple were also found during the ASI survey,” he added.
