That is true but it is also true that this is a cello playing and the arranger simply transcribed it incorrectly. Watch a video of the violin and cello version and you will immediately realize

I’m playing this piece except I have the music sheet where most of my notes (cello) are played an octave higher. Even though those notes in here are an octave higher too

it’s because this piece can also be played with viola and violin so since cello is lower, obviously than the score would be an octave lower
