Thanks for such a wonderful video. 'Speed' is a very relative word. It is difficult to ascertain 'Slow' until the child is very slow. So, kindly, can u tell me the standard writing speed for a 7-year-old child (in words /minute or letter/minute). Have a nice day....

Yes, it's a relative word. Although in the video I haven't mentioned about it I meant about the average writing speed for a 7-15 year-old. There have been various studies and as per them, the average writing speed is 68-70 letters per minute. This is the text copying speed. Thanks

Regarding the study schedule, actually, I don't have a dedicated study schedule for my daughter. My daughter is a kinesthetic learner. She also doesn't like to sit and do worksheets for a long period of time. So, I try to teach her the concepts whenever possible like while playing, when I am doing household chores etc. Same goes with the fine motor skills activities. For example, yesterday I was baking a cake and I asked her to mix the batter(which involves the use of hands and fingers). Similarly, I ask her to peel peas, soaked almonds, fold clothes, ask her to help me knead the dough etc. But yes one definite thing I do with her is to make her sit for study every day at the same time(11:30-12:00 or 12:15). This programs her that she has to sit and do worksheets or reading and she has no choice. It took me 3-4 days to program her but now she is ok with it. As I always say consistency and patience is the key with kids. Try to give him the most simple activities and let him on his own. Even of he is doing it wrong it's ok. Once he is confident enough then he will do them correctly. Go with your kid's pace and you will definitely get to know how will you cover the syllabus. Will try to make a video on it. Thanks

Will try to make it. I have so many requested topics that are in pending. Will try to cover up all those😊. Just want to share briefly that I am concentrating on phonics nowadays. She knows half the sounds but cannot blend as of now. So focusing on blending too. In maths she knows oral counting till 50(but gets confused sometimes), She can write numbers till 10, Before after till 10, bigger number smaller number till 10. She understands English very well as per her age but cannot speak(maybe because I talk to her in Hindi mostly). She is good at G.K.(that’s what I think 😉), maybe because I read a lot to her. I will start teaching Hindi to her from next week. This month she will turn 4(mentioning for your reference). Thanks 😊
