It's not about logic in this situation Destiny. It's purely emotional. A woman with a relatively good head on her shoulders fell for a guy, because he genuinely seemed like a genuine guy. As a marriage/family therapist, I’ve heard about and also watched very intelligent people make the worst choices in romantic partners. It IS NOT something people do because they are using reason. It is motivated by FEELINGS… which are deceptive and are often programmed in childhood. The intent is to get pregnant so that you can financially exploit the other using deceptive or coercive means. If you are open about getting pregnant, alerting the other to the risk and you get pregnant, there is no trap. It’s the difference between stepping on a landmine you didn’t know was there, and knowingly playing with the pressure plate with your foot and setting it off. I don't know why it's hard for some people like destiny to understand that more "experience" with something does not equal to better emotional or stable outcomes. A good analogy is probably an employer hiring two employees. One with 1-2 jobs in the last 5 years and one with 10 jobs in the last 5 years. On the outside you might think "Well this one has had more jobs so therefore more experience", but it doesn't work that way. The person with more jobs probably never learned very good communication skills, compromise, never delved into any area too deeply and was quick to find a way out if anything got rough. Same exact thing applies to relationships, a person with 1 or two partners in a lifetime is probably way more experienced in compromise, sacrifice, emotional maturity etc. It's absurd that someone could think otherwise.

And of the men who _do_ pay their child support, most of them only make partial payments rather than the full amount ordered. Destiny is going at this with the base mindset of "Fresh is dumb, so his actions can be explained by idiocy, while Daisy seems smarter, so everything she does must have an ulterior motive." Meanwhile Aba is going at this with the mindset of "Fresh is a piece of shit, so everything he is saying is a lie, while Daisy is in opposition to Fresh, so everything she is saying is the truth." I think the points they start from are actually true on all accounts. I think Destiny misrepresents the mechanisms by which people fall in love. They don't always decide to regulate their feelings by past experience to find optimal partners. And falling for a particular crappy person is not necessarily indicative of a tendency to fall for any crappy person such that a person shouldn't have made it to the age of 28 without encountering earlier problems.
