Everyone that is saying the rework(before stand defence combo extend) was a nerf are dumb. They clearly never played jotaro before the rework. They gave him an extra combo extend and a super good damage reduction in base. And then they made stand leap faster and eaisier to land. And added another combo extender and a 50+ dmg move to his mode

@@15tenseiwashere you do realize a 100-0 isn't everything that makes a character good? asuna was considered busted on release and she had no combo extenders. -Ora is slower so it's virtually useless, the only way to use it is through a tech thats impractical and isn't even worth trying + it has less range for whatever reason +Star finger changes were good -Stand defense is gutted. "Damage reduction in hitstun" isn't a good argument because thats literally the exact same thing it was before, only difference is before you could actually ESCAPE with it. Now it's exclusively the damage reduction and an uppercut that only happens if you _don't use it as a defensive move_ which kills the point of _stand _*_defense_* it isn't worth losing one of the best defensive tools in the game (an actual evasive) for a worse hierro that comes with an attack. -Worst awakening in the game. Block everything and the time stop. The nerf that you people don't seem to understand is losing one of the best defense tools in the game just to replace it with an "extender" that doesn't work half the time. (You can even see it _not_ working at the start of the vid) and then having your awakening turn into a game of "can you rely on TS well enough to take at least 50 health before you get turtled to hell"

Nah it is a counter in the sense that it is made to counter an opponent who over commits to a move. If you rush at Jotaro and Jotaro uses ORA, Jotaro doesn’t get stunned because of the hyper armor, hits you, and you then get 100-0’d
