भाषण देख के लगता है दिसानायके बहुत ही समझदार और सुलझे हुए व्यक्ति हैं। बदलाव कष्टकारी होता है इसीलिए व्यक्ति या देश उसका प्रतिरोध करते हैं, बदलाव अच्छा या बुरा दोनों ही हो सकते हैं। श्रीलंका का ये बदलाव अच्छा है। एक परिवार की सत्ता खतम हुई है। ऐसा ही 2014 में भारत हुआ और भारत ने विकास की तेज रफ्तार पकड़ी। देसनायके भी वही करेंगे जो उनके देश के नागरिकों के लिए अच्छा हो। सत्ता से बाहर रहने और सत्ता में आने के बाद पार्टियों की विचार धारा एकदम बदल जाती है। हम अभी नहीं कह सकते की वह भारत विरोधी हैं, क्योंकि श्रीलंका के लोगों का भला तभी हो सकता है जब वो भारत के साथ मिलकर काम करें। ये बात देसनायके भी अच्छे से जानते हैं। मुझे तो पूरी उम्मीद है वो एक अच्छे राष्ट्रपति साबित होंगे। एक बात याद रखना जरूरतें हमेशा विचारधारा से बड़ी होती है। विचारधारा और सिद्धांत जरूरतों के हिसाब से बदलते रहते हैं।
