Abaco 2019 Before & After Hurricane Dorian

The Bahamas Need Our Help
We are absolutely gutted & devastated by the destruction that Hurricane Dorian has left behind as he blasted the beautiful islands of the Northern Bahamas on Sept 1, 2019. The Abaco as we knew it, has been destroyed.
Footage slowly emerging from some of the islands is heart wrenching & shows total apocalyptic scenes. Our hearts are with everyone affected by this monster storm.
We spent nearly 3 months in Abaco earlier this year & loved every moment and we are so sad to know that places we visited & loved have been ripped apart.

This was a very unusual hurricane. It was basically a 48hr stationary F5 tornado combined with a 26 ft tsunami. Unreal.

Am so sorry that this happened to you guys but I live in bahama"s but when this happen me and my family was in bahamas but now we in Atlanta and my granddaddy is still in bahamas and and when I was 1 we had cat 1 and all of the cat but now am 8

Samaritans Purse is there, helping. After the Haiti Earthquake, I don’t think I’d trust giving to the Red Cross. I believe they have trouble coordinating in big disasters. Not sure why..Also, pressure should be put on the Cruise-lines to go there and leave ships there, for people to live on temporarily, since the Islands provide a main source of their prosperous earnings..My heart is broken for these people. Dear God, someone help..!!
