..#1- everything in the shop can hurt you. #2- check all tools before using and service if necessary. #3- just because it's black doesn't mean it isn't hot. #4- a few minutes of preparation before the project can save you hours in the emergency room. Great series...!

That is a great TLDR. It's an inherently dangerous activity and needs to be treated with respect.

Great Video ! I can attest to the dangers of mushroom head chisels . 40 years ago ,at work a piece burst off of the chisel that I was hammering. I still have that chunk of shrapnel in my wrist ,as they deemed it more dangerous to remove than to take it out.

I'm glad no one was hurt. That would be pretty scary. Did it seem loose before it flew off?
