This was my parent's favourite haunt when they were in the area. Met with them there a couple of times a LONG time ago, all I can remember is the posh atmosphere it had. [edit] .. your websites Lee, your websites. My eyes keep seeing "...sexploraton".

Lee there is a large abandoned hotel on Ainsdale beach in Southport next to pontins. Been going to Pontins for a few years. Looks an interesting place from the outside. I don't know about access though

I found it so strange that the plant over the pool-which obviously has no human access to it whatsoever-was green and thriving.Crazy how nature prevails in these places,and sometimes takes over.

It was a really nice place back in the day apparently so it's a shame to see it in such a condition but I'm glad I was able to see it before it gets demolished.

Loss of a lovely hotel, two owners went bankrupt in 1989 and 2008, abandoned and left to rot.

Hi just watched your video on the skinburness hotel, my aunt and uncle ,along with her brother who was the owner, ran this hotel in the early 90s.It was great for a weekend away. The place was rumoured to be haunted by a ghost called Mary and I used to be terrified walking around the hotel myself. It's a shame to see it in this condition. I was really luxurious when I used to visit.

Not really anything paranormal, found creepy photographs of people's family etc. We also found a laboratory with blood everywhere!

Great video guys but, please, you should wear masks to protect your lungs when your breathing in all that crap, dampness, mold, and lots more, you'll damage your lungs. Xx

Thanks for your concern Jackie, I usually do wear masks nowadays, this video was one of the first videos we did when safety wasn't a huge concern! - For any videos that I do now where the building is enclosed then I will wear a mask, I don't tend to if there's a good flow of air through as I want to keep clear audio for my videos :) x
