Yeah, we'd like the car to be better too but, you gotta play the hand you're dealt. The opportunity to buy this car presented itself and we're happy to be able to save it! There's no fan spacer and the fan looks like it's backwards. Pull the number 1 plug and find tdc.

I noticed your car has disc brakes and a dual master cylinder. Neither were used until 67. Are those parts from a newer car, or a kit?

It's my understanding that disc brakes were a factory option in 65. The car didn't have a master cylinder or front brake lines on it when we got it so, we don't know what was previously on there.
