Hi gordon great video i have found some info on that pillbox there is another one further along from that one they were built to protect an anti aircraft gun emplacement that was there also there was an large army camp for the gun emplacement and a armoury and a gl mark 2 radar.

@ it’s a bit of a jaunt but can I suggest a rail trip to Ravensglass as te main station is next to the narrow gauge, museum and village plus Roman Bath

Glasson Dock opened after the Lune siltedup and ships could no longer reach Lancaster. Morecambe harbour would have replaced Sunderland Point and that in turn was replaced by Heysham Harbour in the early 20th century.

Bradford tram! Not for nothing do they call Morecambe Bradford by the sea. I remember when I was quite young listening to newspaper sellers on the promenade shouting, "(Lancashire) Evening Post" and "(Bradford) Telegraph and Argus" Bill
