I have to say that the street light was a huge plus for the lighting keeping me stealth while making the Steak Fajitas. I used a Delmonico what is your favorite cut of steak?
@DickInTheDirt
@DickInTheDirt 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Tony! My favorite cut of steak is ribeye. Pan seared in cast iron on each side on high heat. Then slide the pan in a preheated oven for about 4 minutes to finish it off.

Hope you stay safe on these adventures Tony. You are one of a kind my friend. I love your use of the available lighting to really create a realistic gritty effect. Truly unique content. Im a New York Strip guy myself. Medium rare, sauteed onions, pat of butter on the steak and alittle A1 on the side.

Thanks Walter! That lighting was really amazing especially when cooking. A New York Strip guy that is a great combo with the onions and A1 has to be on the side. Perfect! Have an awesome day brother!

24:00 mine is GPPS: Garlic Pepper Paprika Salt lol. But I also usually use a little bit of cumin, and a little red chili powder or cayenne. This gives the steak almost the exact flavor of traditional Carne Asada preparation I've found, I always do that for making street tacos

I'm always impressed when I see someone chop an onion without crying. I get 2 cuts in before I'm crying so much that I'm blinded completely, the pain is unbearable, and I have to finish chopping with my eyes closed. I've gotten pretty okay at cutting onions with my eyes closed but I wish I didn't have to! I want to try stealth camping but Idk if I will because of the area I live. I'm not as afraid of getting busted for doing something I shouldn't (where I live camping urban is sadly common due to homelessness but most cops will just tell people "you have to leave" and not arrest them) as much as I'm afraid of being robbed, as some despicable people like to sneak through dark and lonely areas at night and a lot of assaults happen even right in my own neighborhood. I do have a few places in mind that might be safer from people, but they're mostly dry washbeds or natural respite areas, and the coyotes and javelinas use those to travel through town, so I'd have to be wary of them too, or maybe just not bring any food with me, eat a burger on the way and toss the wrapper before I get to the site. Coyotes aren't too bad and spook easy, but javelina can be vicious and territorial.
