The water spigots are usually powered by a pump which requires electric power. There must be a well some where, with a pump.

What a cool place! The log books may be old, but you should have checked the expiration date on those can goods. They looked pretty fresh to me. Thanks for sharing with us.

I didn’t even think about that, haha! It is pretty amazing that stuff was still there though.

A lot of water sources are drying up. Way up on Spirit Mountain in Southern NV, there is a spring that I used to visit often. Sent Steve and Andrea to explore it and it was dry. People sucking the ground water out. Have to have them beautiful, green golf courses. Water fountains. Even the lakes are drying up. Gotta water their yards. 😢

@@richardbeee I washed my car 3×s this week and watered my trees once a day for 20 minutes a day everyday,, gotta keep the car clean and the trees green.

That's a shame. That's one thing I worry about in Nevada is how drastic water is drying up. Especially with all the geothermal plants being built.

These ranches become abandoned because of the loss of water, it sux, but water looses its path in the desert periodically.

There used to be a working shower outside the cabin when we were there. Shame about the water supply!!!

The way people are now I'm surprised that place is not vandalized & ripped off or have squatters !

It's in good condition due to being in the "middle of nowhere," but if it was near a city, it definitely wouldn't be in such good condition.
