The big house was the main cottage for a the family there are 3 little homes in the original farm at the start now as you see is nearly crumbled down iam sorry to see it like this and I hope Ken gets his dying wish’s RIP ALL THE LOVE IN THE LAND EDDIE

The buildings at the rear look as if they were once part of a big house with a courtyard that has been demolished the small house at the front has been built at a later date in the foundation of the older demolished house

Yep, I assumed the rear buildings to be farm buildings with the main house at the front. You could be right though as main house doesn't look old enough

@@flyingthroughhistory7211 if you look just behind the newer build there is a square the old house would have been there then what is now the Farm would have been a courtyard where there would have been a black Smith shop a bakery things like that to cater for the needs of the big house you may find the new build was actually the kitchen block added on later

I have known the previous owner for the he past 30 years his name was Ken my children grew up camping on combfeild farm and I do know that the people who are trying to get the land Ken did not want them having it and he never got on with them and hey were step sons to Ken’s brother Ken would rather her it rot away then them two have it it’s a shame me and Ken were very close and my children called him uncle Ken RIP Ken

They didn’t leave or was anyone murdered mam and dad died naturally and Ken and his brother inherited the farms one in castle side were the two step nephews live who are trying to claim the land as there’s and it’s wrong if they get in Ken’s brother claimed castle side as his and Ken had combfeild farm and another property not far from combfeild Ken worked hard on that property and I once had to intervene when for people tried to rob him one night but fortunately for Ken there was around 7 of us camping at the farm that night and let’s put it this way I was Ken’s angel that night and he told me that me and my children were aloud to camp on the farm any time and we loved him for that he was one in a million Ken RIP
