This seems like a hoarders property. My guess, back in the day you couldn’t sell this equipment for enough to cover the transport, so there the collection sits. My uncle had a very big dairy operation up in northern Utah which spread into Arizona back in the fifties. Any sort of machine that had to do with cows and the milking process. He didn’t have one one each he would buy a fleet of over the road 18 wheelers and let them sit until he got around to fixing a few. He was an ace mechanic and a certified welder, plus he could tear a big diesel engine apart and it would run like a top when he finished. Still his acreage was full of old equipment just rusting away. Got a feeling this is part of farm life across our nation.
