Abandoned Dairy Queen - Punxsutawney, PA. Enjoy a look at this old location that sadly closed in 2019 at the end of the Summer. It never reopened in 2020 and I question whether it anything to do with covid.

This old school Dairy Queen probably had the red sign on the front of the building that said Dairy Queen instead of DQ.

There is one like this in my city. A walk up outdoor Dairly Queen. It closes in the winter. It opened early this year..😉😋

I like how they put the seating behind the restaurant farther from traffic. They need more trees or something to act as a sound barrier. That highway traffic (guessing it's a highway) is quite noisy!

There is at least 1 Dairy Queen in Chillicothe, Tx. and is in the original building since I've lived in Vernon, Tx. in 1973. (technically 2 if you count Fred's renamed from Dairy Queen because of licensing I think which also had the original building)

I like, and miss, Dairy Queen. So many in NYS have closed over the decades, some have transformed into a different business, one I know was demolished and just became a Starbucks. I like their burgers.

that is an odd one where they close seasonally. we had a dairy queen where i used to live that the outside of the building had the same roof. that building is now a pizza restaurant. a new dairy queen with an orange Julius got built down the road and people go there. nice to see another old one around

There's new DQ in the region, around where in center city. Some DQ locations around my town, seriously. There could be abandoned Mc Donald's out there, or even Wendy's. I don't know, but I see tons

Here’s a good one to visit. If you ever swing by the state of Georgia, had over to the Fatz Cafe on Belair road. For all I know it’s been abandoned from a chapter 11 bankruptcy for the better part of 5 years now. I do have to warn you the belair entrance is closed off by gate but if you take a left (or right) from belair road to Hereford farm rd and than left onto Marie street there is a back entrance that is wide open as far as I know but I could very much be wrong so I’d just scope it out beforehand. I’m interested to see what it looks like on the inside. Just don’t have the balls to do it myself. 😂😂

I think the owner of the Dairy Qween died before 2019 then new people got it they didn't last long plus I heard through the grape vines it was going to demlomise but it didn't happen

I stopped at this DQ just before it closed for a medium sized cone. I ate it while driving into town and immediately had diarrhea. Next time I passed by it was closed. This may give you a reason why it was closed.
