What a magical place!!! Especially for a child! So sad that vandals had done so much damage to the rest of the buildings architecture is really cool though. The house really is amazing with so many little twists and turns. Absolutely amazing. Beautiful on the roof not enough money in the world to save you from grief. I’m surprised he didn’t at least try to sell it though. That little fireplace was sure amazing wasn’t it? So sad for destruction. Man that would’ve been an amazing house. I wonder if that second house was for the navy maids or service. Absolutely incredible. The place that just keeps going and going. Another pool? Wow! Super explore San and Jess. As usual, your description as you went around the castle and the mansion, was filled with emotion. I felt as tho I were there with you guys. The graffiti and wonton destruction is so cruel after the people who created it for their one child, poured so much love and care into the Disney castle. I seen this place about 2 or 3 years ago and it was more or less spotless then. There was a security firm checking the place and it had an an alarm connected to the local police station. It's awful what has been done to the place. Great visit as per your normal standard yet again.

Such a beautiful place, yes it is heart breaking to see the destruction, but you can still see the beauty beyond that. It helps underline for me that possessions are temporary and we can’t get attached to them. I loved the extra part of the property with the bar and fabulous swimming pool. I really wish that I had the money and permission to just go in there and clean it back up and restoring what I could. What an inspiration for that father to build such a lovely place for his daughter! As my daughter passed at such a young age, I certainly understand doing and making anything you can for them to enjoy their time here! You actually missed a secret room, at 13:45 the mirror in the left, behind the guy with the black shirt is actually a door to a room where i believe was the owners watch collection. also, there were 4 life size woman statues in front of each of the other mirrors, all of them are now broken inside the pool downstairs. Here it’s a bit of the story of this property for you: It costed more than 10 million euros to make it but it was made illegally. The owner asked permission to Disney to build the castle to his daughter and Disney gave them the permission & they send some photos for inspiration. Some of the things came from Brazil & Italy and the marble pillars are the biggest ones in Portugal. All the house have heated floors and 4 swimming pools (1 inside and 3 outside). There’s a hidden safe in the front room and a bunker in case of something happens. That was a family home but they’re renting to a company called Solbi for 10 thousands euros for party’s & meetings. They left the place because of the high cost to maintain the property. It was left to the bank and it was going for a electronic auction for 3 million euros. They had an offer of 3.4 million euros but it was rejected by the judge because it was low compared to what’s worth it. Hopefully one day someone will save the property because it’s absolutely stunning 😍

Nogueira means Chestnut actually (the word at the entrance of the house on the pathway) but it was actually the Noguera family name that it represented, for the Noguera drug cartel. Some interesting stories on the web, the family had to abandon it when they went on the run. I'm wondering if that is perhaps why so many people felt it was OK to trash it? Since it was built with drug money. However, doesn't justify the damage, since it was such a pretty home. Sorry if someone else already mentioned in the other comments ;) Love watching your videos
