So, I tried doing a 67 mustang coupe your way. Just spent $100 on a 1/18 scale diecast. It was a off white, tan color. I wanted to paint it Frost Turquoise to match my 67. Because those are not put there for sale. Anywhere. I'm not as talented as you. I ended up snapping off the back tires. The wipers, bumpers, lights, and chrome trim are glued into place. Not just pressed in. I found this out the hard way. Plus the little tiny letters on the hood and trunk don't come off. There are stickers on the fenders with letters and decals. And to top it off, I don't have spray paint. I tried using a brush, and touch up paint from my real 67. Let's just say, it did not turn out well. Any suggestions how to get the brush strokes out? It's really starting to feel like this was a bad idea. Want to do a 67 mustang coupe for me? Lol

You'll likely never get the finish you are looking for with a brush.
