Yeah unfortunately that didn’t work out very well. 3 years ago, learned a lot since then.

The text in yellow is illegible against the white snowy background. Too bad. I wanted to read it.

Yeah it is a shame. Ruins the video in my opinion. This was shot when I was still learning to edit. I hope to reshoot at this location this summer. Will be deleting this version when new video is available.

@@oldwoodentrunkadventures OK sounds good. Looking forward to it. Also if you have a drone it might be interesting to see how Interstate 89 cut right through roads and villages when it was built. You don't have to go far to see the effects, right in Williston there are roads that end at 89 and then continue on the other side with different names (South Road and Johnson lane and Tower Road which is abandoned on the south side of 89). Just an idea if you're looking for content. Looking forward to the reshoot this summer of the Beltline.

@@greatpariscars that’s a great idea. I will definitely look into that. I see it all the time in different towns. I will do some research and come up with a few spots. Appreciate the ideas! Thank you for the feedback, always like to know how things look on the other end.

Almost impossible to read text. Not enough contrast between background and thin yellow font. Otherwise, video seems interesting.

Modern encapsulating, remediation and construction techniques should be able to rectify those problems. Kind of silly to planned and designed such a project that way, but not that much was known about what would become Superfund sites in the 60's or early 70's.

So far it’s been 34 years

So it was closed in 1987 right?
@oldwoodentrunkadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@MASTER_DISLA_EXE that is correct. It never actually opened though. It would have been a much longer section of road but they ran into trouble and had to stop construction. It has been sitting incomplete for 34 years.

It has been retrofitted with ramps. Many kids worked on it. It’s definitely skate ready but not for long. The route is going to be torn up this year supposedly. New road is going in.
