Lost in the Rust Belt is a documentary about a theater that has been abandoned for decades. It was commissioned by the founder of Universal Studios, Carl Laemmle, and in its prime, it was a go-to place. In an effort to restore this theater after it became abandoned, two great minds collide, but are faced with unexpected and gruesome challenges.

I grew up in Kenosha and in about 1983 when I was 12 there was a show there with about 4 heavy metal bands but the residents from the Dayton Hotel didnt deal with it very well so that was it. Also I lived in those apartments for the summer of 89 then left for college.

Been in Kenosha for 27 years took some photoshoots in that building and my brothers music video in that place I know the guy to get in he showed me around it’s amazing and beautiful place

Rochester, MN has a theater in this style - The Chateau. It was built in 1927 as a vaudeville house, then was remodeled and converted into a Barnes & Noble. Here’s a Wikipedia article: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chateau_Theatre
