Abandoned Kmart Belleville, NJ

I remember documenting this KMART in 2019. Strange seeing it abandoned now. Great video.

I used to work near that K Mart before they shut down. One of the last times I stopped there to take a look around, I definitely could tell this location would eventually shut down. As expected most of the employees were by the register. Many empty shelves in the back of the store. It surprised me they stood open for that long.

This was a relatively smaller size store. K-Mart came into the Northern NJ-NYC metro area big time in the late 1960's-early 1970's. There was also a larger K-mart store on the other side of the nearby Passaic River in Kerney. So far neither have seen any development.

I miss Kmart...mainly because it reminds me of the 80s and 90s😁

Beautiful I would definitely want to put a nice size bowling alley and a area for pool hall and nice area for kids to play with things for kids like ball pool climbing rock walls and other fun stuff for kids to play and bring back Arcades Games and pinball machines ❤❤❤

Sadly no one ever considers something for kids anymore. Then they wonder why kids get into trouble. Theres no community , just corporate stores and fast food now and days
