I know this place well. Played the PS demos near the garden center, got pizza in the little Caesars. Friends worked here, I was homeless and posted up here. So many memories I can’t count. It seems so strange for a store but it’s true.

I used to work here as a cashier/stocker. I moved out of Clemmons and had to quit. The people who worked here were very nice.

I remember going here when i was a kid from probably 2010 all the way until it closed and i loved it i specifically remember getting a toy crane and eating at the little Caesars i wish i could go back at least one more time but as long as this video exists it lives on

The last local kmart in my area. I been to this one a few times to get essential supplies & do recording runs. When this was open, you had your pharmacist and Little Caesar's all going, and the store was fairly well stocked. In 2019, I even noticed roof work being done, and had the idea that maybe this would last until the bitter end. Then literally within 72 hours of me taking Raw & Real Retail here, Fast Eddie put this store on the ax. Had I known you were in town, I would've taken you towards some of the malls around town.

I live in clemmons! And I remember going into that exact kmart and I remember it closing, I also remember it having a good court . It has been mostly torn down know and it really hurts to see it . I miss kmart a lot..

Actually it's becoming a Aldi grocery store and their is also going to be a 5 Below store and Ross store connected with it, the Aldi signage is already up and the Aldi is scheduled to open on Thursday November 4.

My nearest Kmart (Jackson , Wyoming) closed in Feb 2020. Up until closing it was one of the most profitable stores in the chain. Very nice and clean for a Kmart. The store has been empty since , and we've received the news that it will reopen....as a TARGET! I've never seen this before , as Kmart stores were usually too small to meet Target requirements. They've made an exception for us I guess lol Keep it up , love this channel.

My family and I frequently shopped at this location. My son loved the Little Cesar’s pizza place inside as soon as you entered the store. They offered layaway for a number of years.

I think, that anybody who dumps their crap outside of an abandoned building, of any building, for that matter, should be sent back to clean it up. No excuse for it whatsoever. I see in the video there are such beautiful, lush green trees there, and people have to ruin the scene with their littering. Unreal.

The ending music is the sad reality Kmart has become. I think the final nail in the coffin for Sears and Kmart will be 2021. I think they are just cleaning out warehouses.

This is my hometown. I remember when this building was brand new (can't recall what was there before; might've just been trees/landscape) in the early 90's. It was the "nice" department store at the time. Oh, the ravages of time.

The Kmart we had in Pineville Louisiana closed around 2016, and part of it is an Ollie's, and the garden center was made into a daiquiri drive thru, but most of it is still abandoned. The first location in Alexandria was built on Macarthur Drive in the 1960s, and closed in the mid 90s when they built the Super kmart on South Macarthur. That original Kmart is now a Sutherland's, and the Super Kmart shut down on the round of closures in 2002, then became some type of college (at that time they lowered the ceilings very low), then it became slinkees, which was a place with jumpers inside, which moved there because the mall kicked them out to make a cons (the mall is dead), and now that Kmart is abandoned again, and is hidden by a large hotel, and panda Express, both of wich was built on the large parking lot, and I think that one had a Kmart express gas station. So, when you go back to visit Texas, think about going here to Alexandria and Pineville Louisiana. You can visit all of the old kmart stores, and our dead mall, wich has an abandoned Sears, and an abandoned stage.

Happy Birthday, Wallie! (saw the driving video) Well, this is really THE END OF THE ROAD FOR BOTH CHAINS as it seems there's only 2 stores in Puerto Rico NOT on liquidation, and my 7788 (Rexville Town Centre) store wasn't the one that "turned off the lights' for Kmart. It was the 7783 store (Plaza Las Américas mall), the 2nd largest Kmart (after Las Catalinas Mall Super K) ever built on the Island at 130K sq. ft. on 2 floors. I have the gut feeling that as of late March, 2021 it is the largest Kmart still open. Plaza Las Américas mall "may" also house the last Sears open and it is most likely the largest (350 K sq. ft. combined in 2 separate locales) still open in all the chain. GOOD RIDDANCE, "VUITRE" (VULTURE) EDDIE AND HOPE YOU NEED SOME STOMACH MEDICINE SOON (NOT AVAILABLE AT A KMART PHARMACY)....

Could you give me the 411 on how many NON-LIQUIDATING Sears and Kmarts are left? The 2 Keys locations you mention were of just 3 there and 4 in FL (the other somewhere in Miami). I know Plaza Las Américas has THE ONLY Kmart left in the Island with its' sister Sears store in the mall one of the last still there... Suspect they have began to close some of their 4 VI Kmart locations, but I haven't seen or heard.

@@Mr.Inman14 In my area getting rid of a tv is damn near impossible. You have to wait til they do an electronic disposal event which is once a year. Best Buy used to take them for a fee, but they stopped doing it. If people have to pay to get rid of stuff, they won’t. It’s a shame that they feel it’s ok to dump it somewhere though. But if the garbage collection companies would take the stuff, it wouldn’t be as bad as it is.

Fun fact this Kmart opened 3 days before my birthday April 12th 1993 but my birthday is on April 15th next month this Kmart would have been celebrating it’s 28th birthday if it was still opened also it closed in December 2019 due to the bankruptcy wave it closed early because they ran out of stuff fast,
