Sad day man, I went to this building 2 to 3 times during the summer. I went to return with a friend just a few days ago and they boarded up the entire school, really was a cool place to explore

The original sections looks it's from the 1920's. I taught in a building something like that.

George Mazich the oldest date we could find in the building was a readers digest issue from 1977, we’re not actually sure exactly when it was built!

All pontiac schools are old and beautifully made but the repairs for them old big buildings became to expensive to keep up and running...

I’ve tried finding Mark Twain, everything I can see online tells me it’s been demo’d, I drove to the address to see if anything was there but sadly just an empty lot :/
