Had multiple issues with City of Whitehall. Area is being redeveloped by the city.

Did a lookup, this is what Bing had: Woodcliff is a neighborhood in Whitehall, Ohio, that has been abandoned since 2019. The neighborhood spans approximately 36 acres and contains over 150 condos, most of them duplexes. In all, Woodcliff had 317 units. The homes in this neighborhood were built in 1953 and were a very desirable place to live and raise a family at that time. However, through the 1980s, this Columbus suburb remained a clean, mostly crime-free place to reside. Unfortunately, things started to change near the late 1980s. Cultural barriers and indifference between residents started to arise. These growing tensions, along with the housing seeing few updates moving into the 21st century brought more trouble for the future of Woodcliff. Drug issues arose, bringing more crime to the neighborhood streets. As the crime rate grew, the neighborhood shrunk. Residents fled in search of better places to live, and their homes were abandoned . In August 2018, there was a court order for the property to be sold. The multiple property owners all voted to sell the property to the city, and in 2019, the city finalized this sale, purchasing the blighted neighborhood for approximately $10 million dollars . The city of Whitehall has been working on redeveloping the area since then. In March 2020, it was reported that the city was planning on redeveloping the site into a $300 million mixed-use development that would include retail space, offices, apartments, and a hotel . In February 2023, workers started demolishing the last of Woodcliff condominiums in Whitehall on Thursday, bringing an end to a 16-year battle between the city and the condo complex .

@@ernestmcdonald8959 It was socio-economic then? These seemed like good homes with space around them.

@@markhayden1 Yes. Things changed over time, but a great location. Located at the corner of East Broad Street and Hamilton Road. Minutes from shopping, parks and the freeway.
