Nicely done, I remember touring that facility, we called it "The Site.", when I was a Boy Scout there on "The Base" in the late 50's. The main antenna/dish was enormous. I remember that it was pointed towards "The States" and covered a 3% sector of the sky. The Site was manned by the Air Force personal on the Base. I still remember both of the officers very well. The boss, Maj. Mathies retired as a General, obviously many years later. My 3 years in Trinidad left just a huge imprint on my life. What a great place to grow up as a teenager. Thank you Husiff, my name is Drew.

Hey goodnight Mr. Drew, thanks for stopping by and sharing a bit of your history, it is truly appreciated, you speck of a time before me and the little incite is interesting, it is amazing to know that you were actually there in person in a time before me and you could tell a little about it.

Great work and content, you might be the first person to show us this depth of content on the dish and tracking station in such details. All I can I think when you were exploring the insides was, how it was when it was fully functioning with a full staff. With all the offices, it seems like they had a lot of people working at the facilities you showed! Thanks again for this!
@Husiff2 ай бұрын
definitely a lot of people worked there at one point in time, this was a grand project, a lot of effort was put into this place, you could see it just by walking around. Hey thanks for the feedback,i appreciate it.

Was informed that the large concrete slab that fell outside the antenna was a result of the large earthquake in August 2018. I was scheduled to do a photoshoot around that time however given that recent fall and significant safety risk, the folks at CDA advised against. Still weary to walk in/around to this day. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable trip when they do.

Great job on the history lesson, great job on the production as well! If I may be so rude to ask you to change the thumbnail a little, I would ask you to include the words " All You Need To Know About" because you have done so much research and give such great info, its a shame this video does not have more views, and my only thought is, that so many others have just flown their drones around the site with little to no info already, unfortunately your video seems that way also....only until you click and give it a chance that is!
